Volunteer

There are many opportunities to volunteer with NYJTL as it offers tennis and education programs year-round, in schools across all five boroughs, as well as at our flagship home, the Cary Leeds Center for Tennis & Learning. NYJTL’s vision is to enable kids to Grow with the Game and when you volunteer your time, it helps makes a difference in the lives of the youth that we serve.  Both short and long term volunteer positions are available – NYJTL recommends those interested in long term volunteerism, to sign up for a short term position first to fully understand the organization’s needs.  NYJTL thanks you for your consideration!

NYJTL Mayor Dinkins Cup – The Mayor Dinkins Cup is the largest free junior interscholastic tennis competition in the nation, with players from all over New York City representing public, parochial, and private schools. Formerly the Mayor’s Cup, NYJTL renamed the tournament the Mayor Dinkins Cup to honor NYC’s first Black Mayor and NYJTL Board Member, who served 35 years, David N. Dinkins. Learn more!
