School Day Tennis Programs

The Spring 2019 School Day Tennis Programs are for children in grades K-8 and run during the school day from
8 am- 2 pm. Through world-class instruction, led by seven-time Grand Slam champion and three-time Olympian Liezel Huber, and at a state-of-the-art facility, these programs provide principals and school administrators a great way to broaden the health, wellness and recreation options available to NYC students– particularly students in under resourced communities.

School Tennis Activity 

Sessions: One 1 hour session
Up to 40 students

 Elementary & Middle

Get your kids out of their seats and moving on the tennis court! Students enjoy a fun-filled hour out at the Cary Leeds Center for Tennis & Learning with our friendly and welcoming staff of teaching professionals.

And lace up your own sneakers! We encourage parents, teachers and school administrators to join in on the fun.


School Tennis Introductory Program      

Sessions: Four 1 hour sessions*
Up to 40 students per session

Elementary & Middle

Soak up the state-of-the-art Cary Leeds Center right next door to your school! This program will introduce tennis in a fun and accessible way, teaching your students to basic stroke production. Students can fulfill their PE Field Day requirement from trained professionals.  Your four hours of programming can be used flexibly to address the many needs of your students – including your field day, college access culmination, or your senior day!


School Tennis Essentials Program

Sessions: Eight 1 hour sessions*
Up to 40 students per session

Elementary & Middle

The School Tennis Essentials Program will teach your students the fundamentals of the game including basic stroke production, scorekeeping, and strategy.  The program is designed to build tennis skills through game-based activities promoting competitive play.  Prizes are used throughout the eight weeks to incentivize fun and learning.
