New York Junior Tennis League hosted its fourth annual QuickStart Tennis Championships at Crotona Park, the Bronx, in August.
About QuickStart Tennis Championships
The annual championships showcased NYJTL's Community Tennis and Aces Clubs After-School Program participants who have practiced their QuickStart Tennis skills throughout the summer season. QuickStart Tennis or 10-and-under tennis is the new USTA format which incorporates smaller tennis racquets, low-compression tennis balls and a shorter tennis court in an effort to make tennis more fun and easy to learn for children.
