Intensive Training Program

OVERVIEW & GOAL

NYJTL Programming in our community programs – CTP, ACES and FACES – remains transformative and popular. Specifically designed for high performance players, NYJTL has announced the new Intensive Training Program (ITP).  Its goal is to improve the skills and tournament play of its participants to compete for NYJTL’s advanced training spots and to be able to play at the High School, JTT and College levels.

PROGRAM SUMMARY

ITP is designed as a training ground for high-performing/high-potential NYJTL students who currently participate in any of NYJTL city-wide programs.  With smaller coach-to-student ratios and increased access to tennis, ITP bridges the gap between recreational community-based programs and elite training. It is a FREE program for participants of NYJTL Community Tennis Program, ACES Afterschool Program, and the Cary Leeds Center FACES (Family and Community Engagement Series).
