NY State Certified guidance counselors are available to
counsel students to choose the right school for them
help students who are struggling in school
help with the college application process
help with securing tennis and other scholarships

For Middle School students
Guidance in choosing the right high school
Assistance in securing scholarships
Help in selection of academic courses to maximize educational and career options
Direct to appropriate tutoring and test preparation services
Counsel or refer students experiencing emotional problems affecting school performance

For High School students
Guide in the college admission process
Assist in setting realistic college goals
Help to complete college applications and assist with college essays
Teach appropriate admission interviewing skills
Assist in securing financial aid and scholarships, including USTA scholarships
Direct students to test preparation centers and classes
Advocate on behalf of students through recommendations and telephone contacts to various admissions offices
Provide personal counseling and referrals for students experiencing emotional problems affecting school performance
