Join NYJTL's inaugural women’s tournament featuring a round robin doubles tennis format and lunch at CityView Racquet Club,located in Long Island City, NY on Monday, February 6 from 11 AM - 3 PM. Players will be competing and also take part in various activities including, wine tasting, dance lessons, fitness workouts, and much more.

NYJTL recognized two of its tournament team members for their outstanding accomplishments both on and off the tennis court. Director of Advanced Training and Competition, Elena Bantovska presented Justin Selig and Isadora Braune with medals for the National Student Athlete Competition that runs throughout the school year, offering over $34,000 in annual college scholarship funds by the end of the year.

USTA Eastern recognized five NYJTL tournament team members for their participation in the annual Arthur Ashe Essay and Art Contest. They were honored at the USTA Eastern Annual Luncheon event, held at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel in White Plains, NY.

NYJTL's Early Morning Winter Program is in full swing, operating at six locations, including the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Hundreds of children throughout New York City, come to play free tennis and receive instruction. Players wake up at the crack of dawn to play every weekend from the hours of 6-8am. Registration is on-going on a weekly basis and through the final session on March 4.
