Two iconic leaders, Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick and former world No. 1 tennis professional John McEnroe, were honored for their singular contributions to their respective communities by New York Junior Tennis League yesterday at its 26th annual NYJTL Leadership luncheon before a crowd of nearly 450 supporters at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Manhattan.
Read News Item »A squad of more than 30 NYJTL tournament team players took to the courts to serve as ballrunners for the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships held at the home of the US Open: the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. These ballrunners, many of whom had worked during the US Open Championships, had the opportunity to witness the country's elite men's and women's college tennis players compete for the NCAA National Indoor Championship.
Read News Item »NYJTL's Jr. Team Tennis Team competed at the JTT Nationals held in Sunrise, Arizona. NYJTL took home fifth place out of the top 16 teams in the country at the Advanced Level. In their final match they took on a team from Redmond Washington and defeated them with a score of 53 to 40. Led by Elena Bantovska, it was an exciting event that featured great tennis, true sportsmanship and a lot of fun.
